Position Title: Clinical Intern (Graduate Level)
Placement Site: Light of Loving Kindness Programs
Position Type: Clinical Internship
Supervision: Licensed clinical supervision provided by Obsidian Institute of Integrative Medicine.

Position Summary

Clinical Interns gain supervised experience supporting youth behavioral health and prevention programming while completing graduate internship requirements. Interns observe, co-facilitate, conduct assessments (as appropriate), participate in case consultation, and assist with psychoeducational programming.

Qualifications
 

  • Enrolled in a Master's program in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.

Position Title: Marketing Intern
Position Type: Internship

Position Summary

The Marketing Intern will assist with promoting programs, increasing community engagement, and strengthening the organization's digital presence. This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, branding, social media, and event marketing.

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop social media content.

  • Assist with newsletters and email campaigns.

  • Create flyers and promotional materials.

  • Support website updates.

  • Photograph and document events.

  • Assist with marketing campaigns.

  • Conduct community outreach research.

  • Help maintain brand consistency.

 

Qualifications
 

  • Current college student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or related field.

  • Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

  • Strong writing and communication skills.

  • Creativity and attention to detail.

Position Title: Self-Love Bootcamp Intern
Position Type: Internship

Position Summary

The Self-Love Bootcamp Intern supports the implementation and evaluation of LOLK's signature Self-Love Bootcamp program. Interns assist with participant engagement, curriculum preparation, facilitation support, evaluation activities, and community outreach while gaining valuable experience in youth development and prevention programming.

Responsibilities
 

  • Assist facilitators during Self-Love Bootcamp sessions.

  • Prepare curriculum materials and activity supplies.

  • Support participant recruitment and outreach.

  • Help administer surveys and program evaluations.

  • Assist with attendance tracking and documentation.

  • Support workshops, community events, and outreach activities.

  • Participate in staff meetings and training.

  • Assist with special projects related to youth programming.

 
Qualifications
 

  • Current college student or recent graduate in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Human Services, Public Health, or a related field.

  • Passion for youth empowerment and mental wellness.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Willingness to learn trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices.
