Position Type: Volunteer

Position Summary

Event Volunteers support community outreach events, fundraising activities, youth celebrations, workshops, and special events hosted by Light of Loving Kindness.

Responsibilities
 

  • Event setup and breakdown.

  • Registration and guest check-in.

  • Participant assistance.

  • Activity support.

  • Distribute materials and resources.

  • Assist vendors and presenters.

  • Represent LOLK professionally.

  • General event support as needed.


Qualifications
 

  • Friendly and dependable.

  • Enjoy working with diverse communities.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

  • Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.

Volunteer Opportunity: Self-Love Bootcamp Volunteer
Position Type: Volunteer

Position Summary

Self-Love Bootcamp Volunteers support facilitators in creating engaging and empowering experiences for youth participating in our flagship self-esteem and wellness program. Volunteers serve as positive role models while assisting with program logistics and participant engagement.

Responsibilities
 

  • Assist facilitators during Self-Love Bootcamp sessions.

  • Help prepare materials and activity supplies.

  • Welcome participants and assist with check-in.

  • Encourage youth participation and engagement.

  • Help monitor activities and maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Assist with surveys and evaluations.

  • Help with classroom setup and cleanup.

  • Represent LOLK professionally within the community.


Qualifications
 

  • Passion for youth development.

  • Reliable and dependable.

  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to pass required background checks.

  • Experience working with youth preferred but not required.


Time Commitment

Flexible based on program schedules.
